New Charity Items Provide Donations to The Red Cross in Aid of The Japanese Earthquake Relief Fund in Flyff, Rappelz, Terra Militaris & Castle of Heroes

Gala Networks Europe, one of the leading free-to-play games publisher that operates the http://www.gPotato.eu portal, has announced that it will be launching special charity items for four of its games to support relief efforts in Japan.

We have all been deeply affected by the disaster in Japan and as our parent company is based in Tokyo, we wanted to provide a channel for gPotato.eu members to contribute to the relief effort. By supporting the Red Cross, our players can have a part in helping Japan recover from one of the worst natural disasters it has ever had to endure.

Hyun Hur, CEO, Gala Networks Europe

Starting on the 25th March 2011, players with accounts for Rappelz and Flyff will be able to make charitable donations to the Red Cross by simply buying a charity item from each game’s cash shop. Terra Militaris and Castle of Heroes players will be able to support the charity event from next week on. In all cases, the full cash value of the items will be donated to the Irish Red Cross, which will transfer the amount to Japan.
