Sounds a lot like Sword of the Stars to me, which is a good thing.
Curious to hear more about this game.
As long as it is possible to multi-player it – I’m happy. (And please let it not suck, there are more than enough bad / poor 4X titles on the market…)
I’ve never managed to get into Sword of the Stars, although I do own multiple copies of the ‘complete collection’. Worth trying again? My original gripe was that the first combat I endured, I have absolutely no idea how to make anything do anything. It was so unintuitive that I essentially gave up after that. Which is odd as I generally read quite the opposite in user reviews.
SWOTS was the same with me, could not get the ships to move well or even target al very unintuitive like you say.
This looks good, looking forward to trying it, but I also have loads of other space games to try like Endless Space!
